This is a personal project I shot as Federico Masini for Movement Festival 2019 at Lingotto. Titled “Until The Light Takes Us,” it’s an intimate journey into the hidden narrative of a massive techno event. The mission was to build a complete narrative by capturing the full spectrum of the experience: from the unseen world behind the curtain—the artists’ focus, the mechanics of the backstage—to the pulsing core of the event: the collective energy of the crowd. It’s a story told through contrasts, revealing the human-scale moments that power an epic production. A narrative that follows the pulse of the night, from the first beat to the final fade-out.
